Raised bands. All edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. In this work, the author has attempted to present a general view of the history of the Hebrew race, from their first appearance in the remote ages of antiquity to the last decades of the 19th century. This volume is complete with its 62 in-text and full-page engravings. Moderate rubbing along edges of binding, with some abrasion to calf around corners. Previous owner's inscription on inside of front free endpaper, and dated October 22, 1883. Minor foxing to the very first and very last two leaves. Binding in overall good+, interior in very good condition.
