Sobre este artículo

London: John Murray, 1891. Leather. Very Good. 9" by 6.5". Not Stated. Volume II of two volumes on the modern styles of architecture by James Fergusson; the third edition, revised by Robert Kerr. The third edition of volume II of a two volume set in a quarter morocco binding, with renewed end papers. Volume II of a two volume set exploring modern styles of architecture from places in Europe, Russia, America and India, by James Fergusson, a Scottish architectural historian and a prominent figure in the rediscovery of ancient India in the nineteenth century. Illustrated throughout the volume with diagrams, architectural drawings and illustrations. From the library of Doctor Malcolm Higgs, an important architectural historian who worked as an assistant architect to Stirling & Gowan, working on their particularly renowned Leicester University Engineering Laboratory. During his long career he taught at the University of Edinburgh School of Architecture, Canterbury School of Architecture, and University of Nottingham. Later in his life he was the Vice-President and Honorary Librarian of the Royal Institute of British Architects, and contributed and edited the "Journal of Architecture". In a quarter morocco binding, with renewed end papers. Externally smart, with just some rubbing to the spine, with small losses to the head of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Very Good
