Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Two volumes, both bound in brown cloth with gilt-stamped lettering on spines, Vol. I: 493 pages, Vol. II: 603 pages, both volumes have illustrations. Corners and spine ends worn, some marks/scratches on covers, both volumes have previous owner's name in ink on front free end paper, Vol. I has a folding map that has a few tears, Vol. II has water staining at lower margins of first several pages.
