Sobre este artículo
Dublin: Robert Jackson, 1790. A major work by the blind Quaker philosopher John Gough of Kendal (1757-1825). This is a Very Good copy of the First Edition (Volume IV only). Smooth calf binding; five raised bands on the spine; red label with gilt lettering ("Gough's History"). Clean text; 171 pages, indexed. Contemporary (1815) gift inscription on the Title Page. The text is very clear and supple; some tanning to the page ends and endpapers but unfoxed. The hinges are cracked and delicate, but continue to hold; a book that presents well, and deserves a bit of restoration.. First Edition. Full-Leather. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
