Publisher's Cloth, a near-fine set in the very scarce dust wrappers. 2 octavo volumes, xvi+328pp, xvi+424pp, b/w frontis to each volume, folding chart, grand total of 31 b/w plates showing 54 images, b/w illustrations, index to both volumes, scattered foxing mainly to the preliminary & final pages, fore edges foxed, dustjackets worn with some loss along the edges, a nice set. A comprehensive history of the First 18 Dynasties of Ancient Egypt, by Arthur Weigall [ 1880 - 1934], English Egyptologist, writer & journalist who worked under noted Egyptologist Flinders Petrie, and who was present at the opening of the tomb of Tutankhamun in 1922.
