Translation of Histori van de opkomste, aanwas, en voortgang der Christenen, bekend by den naam van Quakers. <br> Early signatures of Josiah and William Foster, "bought 1736." Later signature of Abigail Foster, Mary Foster. The Fosters were a Quaker family from the Rhode Island / Philadelphia area. Josiah Foster (1682-1770) was a Quaker elder born in Rhode Island, who emigrated to Evesham, NJ. William Foster (1707 - 1778), his son and Mary (1740-1809) and Abigail Foster (b. 1747), his daughters have also signed the book.
