Signed by the editor, A C Brown on the certification page. Full leather. The scarlet leathered boards are very smart and handsome. They are fresh-faced, unblemished. They are healthy, proud. The page-trims have some flushes of foxing. The frontis and end pages have edges of tanning. The frontispiece onwards the pages are bright, clean, earnest, very assured and able, benevolent and benign, confident and very aware of their competence.
