Self Published, Sydney, no date. Reprint. Softcover (Saddle-stapled). Fair Condition. Illustrator: Photographic. foreword by author. The text is illustrated with numerous black-and-white photographs. Illustrated front cover, with blue and red coloured titles. A book put out in the 40s by an ex-police and AIF instructor in unarmed defence using a mixture of ju-jitsu and other fighting methods. Rubbing to the book corners and to the book edges. The white of the background has become dull, browned and shows foxing marks. The rear book cover is also showing signs of browning and foxing along with some rubbing. Foxing to the verso of the card covers and the internal pages are very browned, with the occasional foxing spot, commensurate with newspaper quality paper used in production. A previous owner has placed the number 178, the date 9 -- 1 -- 48 and their signature to the top edge of the verso of the front cover. The spine has split to where only the first saddle staple is holding it together. Third Reprint. Size: 12mo (standard paperback). 72 pages.
