London: C Whiting 1857 Compiled by Eliza Grove of Great Baddow, Essex, for the Benefit of the Idiot and his Institution, a charitable cause. Poems, short stories and articles. HB, 1st ED, viii, 238pp, 1 plate.Lacks half-title and possibly end paper. Red figures cloth, gilt vignette of flowers and beehive to front board, gilt lettering and decorative design to spine. 2 cm split to rear of spine base, corners bumped, light rubbing to edges and some darkening. Internally some rippling to pages, one or two spots to title page, crease to corner of page 25. A Good copy.
