Beautiful engraved vignette title to each volume and a viginette and printed title to vol.3, with a 3 page list of Hogath's works at the end of vol 2. Approx 133 beautiful engraved plates and tailpiece vignettes, the engraved dedication plate in vol.3 signed W. Hogarth. Some slight spotting and a stain in the margin of 1 plate. Contemporary (original) full calf leather is in very good condition and uniform with spines intact. Cover loose on Vols 1. Volumes 2 & 3 tight. Light edgewear, rubbing and foxing. Generally tight and clean.. First Edition. Leather. Very Good+/No Jacket Issued. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
