Carmel, New York: Guideposts Associates, Inc., 1977. This Guideposts edition is in Fine, unread condition with a Fine dust jacket. (Click on photo.) However, the original owner taped the dust jacket to the covers, using non-acidic tape, which could be easily be removed with Goo Gone if the buyer so wishes. The original owner also has her address sticker on the front free endpaper bookplate provided by Guideposts. Dubbed by the Washington Post as "the housewives' patron saint," Marjorie Holmes (1910-2002) was a noted inspirational Christian author. From the dust jacket: "...a collection of prose-poems which find the joy that shrines through the frustrations of ordinary life, the understanding and wisdom beneath the pain in every woman's life." This clean, bright copy is bound in yellow cloth, with deep blue lettering on front panel and spine. The book measures 5 3/4 by 8 1/2 inches and includes 184 pages.. Hard Cover. Fine/Fine. Illus. by Patricia Mighell. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
