Farrar & Rinehart. Near Fine in Near Fine dust jacket. 1937. First Edition; First Printing. Hardcover. A rare set of this uncommon book. It includes the rare and unique advance proof, which was part of a marketing ploy by the publisher. They offered a $25 award for the best title, submitted by anyone on the retail book trade. A horror set in the Bahamas. A first printing of the book with the F&R monogram on the copyright page. Book is NF, slight lean, but no obvious defects, internally clean and in fine condition. A near fine dust jacket, unclipped. A few closed tears, but generally in remarkably good condition. Now with a protective clear cover. VG+ proof, some wear to spine and slight line. Small closed tears on bottom of front wrapper and top of the back. Overall an excellant collectors set; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .

Our shipments are routed via the UK. We always offer consolidated options for multiple orders and some items do have free shipping or special conditions, which will be noted in our description. If you are charged the wrong shipping rate in these cases, we will process a refund. All international and local purchases are packed for shipping/courier to a very high standard.
