Sobre este artículo
Boston: Samuel T. Armstrong, and Crocker and Brewster. 1831. 654pp. The covers are well-worn and rubbed. The spinal gilt is surprisingly bright, but the leather is cracked and the spinal labels are split down the middle. The first free leaf is almost detached, but all the other pages appear to be present and tightly bound. There is a damp half-circle stain at the bottom open edge of the first ~50 and last ~25 pages, but it's not too terrible. The pages are all affected with brown spotting. There is pencil writing on the final few blank leaves. There may some leaves (actual tree leaves) or other items serving as bookmarks. There is a scrapped area on the back cover. For all these many defects, the book is surprisingly solid and in no danger of falling apart for being nearly 200 years old. (59180) . Acceptable. Hardcover.

Items are 12mo. or 8vo or 4to. in original binding and in at least good condition unless otherwise noted. The dust jacket condition will be noted separately in the item description. Items are subject to prior sale, though we update our online inventory to remove sold books in a timely manner. Most books are posted with at least a picture of the cover, with other pictures of notable features or defects. Additional pictures of any item are available upon request. We strive to accurately and comprehensively describe the condition of each item for sale and will gladly provide further details if asked.
Standard shipping in the U.S. will go by USPS Media Rate; faster shipping will go by USPS Priority Mail. The shipping costs are based on most books weighing 2 - 4 pounds (1 - 2 kg). International shipping will cost more, unfortunately. Large, heavy books may require additional postage, but we will try to avoid this if we can.
If feasible, dust jackets will be placed in protective sleeves before shipping. If you don't like the protective sleeve, they are easy to remove without harming the dust jacket. We ship books protected by bubble wrap in carefully-taped boxes. For Priority Mail, we will usually box the book, then place the box inside a Priority Mail flat-rate envelope; most Priority Mail boxes are either too large or too small for individual books.
The "shipping times" are usually accurate, but delays can happen, as we have no influence on the national or international delivery industry! A tracking number for your package is available upon request. USPS Priority Mail shipping includes insurance.
All orders may be returned for any reason within 30 days of receipt.
