Very light rubbing to color at extreeties of binding. ; 32mo 4" - 5" tall; Contemporary red leather gilt binding, spine divided into 5 panels by double gilt rules, boards have a single rule border, 725, [1], 221p., illustrated with etchings, frontispiece of Moses with the Tables of the Law, additional heavily bordered title pages stating "Diamond Bible. " and "Diamond New Testament. " **Hills #1178. Not stated to be a stereotype printing. **O'Callaghan p.248 #16, lists the 1836 New York printing of George Dearborn. On p.298 #12, he lists an 1847 printing by Merriam, Moore & Co. where he calls the illustrations engravings. .
