The Folio Society, 2010. Limited Edition. Large Folio. A beautiful work. 6 volumes in two. Limited to 1000 copies for members only. The present set is #30. Another 20 lettered copies were published but not for sale. This set was reproduced using the first edition held in The John Rylands Library. It also reproduced every word and image from the original. A beautiful production represented very close to the original work. Artist, David Roberts drew the original plates on the spot during his expeditions through these lands. These images were finely reproduced matching the original coloring. A fine set bound in red pictorial cloth accented in black and gilt, gilt pictorial spines, housed withing publisher's fine slipcase lettered and decorated in gilt. A beautiful worthwhile set.
