Light brown cloth lettered and decorated in gilt and in blind, 412 pages plus numerous pages of publisher's ads. Covers lightly rubbed with some moderate shelf soil, spine subtly faded, good hinges, sound text block, name and 1850 date in pencil on preliminary blank, some very light scattered foxing, pages otherwise clean and unmarked.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
