Neat, clean, well bound pages with very minimal foxing, tanning and thumbing. Small inscriptions and neat labels may be present. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning.

In near fine bright red cloth boards with black titles and bird to front. The boards are very tight, straight and clean; spine and edges firm. Unmarked end papers; the front paste down is a little creased. Fairly clean cut edges. The text block is in near fine condition, with very firm, flat and clean pages, with bright colour and b/w plates and b/w drawings. No dedications etc. In very good pictorial dust jacket featuring brightly coloured birds and black titles. The jacket is a little grubby, top edges has a few tiny open and closed tears. Not price clipped. Inside quality plastic jacket.
