Sobre este artículo
London : Michael Joseph , 1955 . First edition. Cloth. Very Good Indeed/Very Good Indeed. 8" by 5" . None stated . The first edition of this political fiction work by Joyce Cary, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. The first edition. In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. This work was written by Joyce Cary, an Anglo-Irish novelist and colonial official. This work is the conclusion to a trilogy of novels including; 'Prisoner of Grace' and 'Except the Lord'. The work tells the story of Nimmo, a former Cabinet Minister hoping for a comeback, Jim, the head of the emergency civilian police, and Nina, who feels trapped in between. In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally excellent with offsetting to the endpapers and the odd slight mark to the boards. The wrap is very smart with slight marks to the rear, very small closed tears to the head of the spine and a very small closed tear to the front of the wrap. The odd spot and mark to the verso. Internally firmly bound with clean and lightly age toned pages with the odd page unopened and a bookseller's label to the front blank. Very Good Indeed
