Sobre este artículo
New York: Harcourt, Brace and Company, (1938). First edition. Story of a screen-writer in his mid-30s in love with a woman in her 20s only passingly interested in him. 8vo glossy black cloth boards lettered in gilt on spine. Bright and very good or better with endpapers slightly darkening, small bookseller's ticket on rear pastedown, and boards crisp and bright but showing faint evidence of old insect activity to lower front corner. In bright, clean, very good or better dust jacket with internally mended 2" tear with attendant rubbed creasing just touching publisher's name at base of spine. From the collection of sports writer Paul "Dr. Z" Zimmerman with his not-terribly-complimentary penciled notations about the text on rear endpaper and corresponding passages marked in pencil in margins.
