The Green Mile was also directed by Frank Darabont (from the serial novel by Stephen King), and stars Tom Hanks, David Morse, Bonnie Hunt, Michael Clarke Duncan, Michael Jeter, James Cromwell, Barry Pepper, Sam Rockwell, and Graham Greene. The film received 4 Oscar nominations; Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor (Duncan), Best Screenplay Based on Material Previously Produced or Published, and Best Sound.
