Couple of small light marks to front cover, Small crease to top corner of front cover, with some minor creasing to edges. Clean, tight bright, no names, no writing.

A clean, crisp copy of this wonderful 1933 artist's interpretation of the "Old City of Mexico". #73 OF ONLY 100 COPIES SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR AND ARTIST D.N.S. (DOROTHY NEWKIRK STEWART) AND IMPORTED INTO THE U.S. FROM THE LARGER 1ST EDITION OF 1,000 COPIES. Solid and VG+ in its off-white wrappers, with just a touch of wear at the spine ends and former owner bookplate at the front free endpaper. Internally very sharp, with no writing or markings to speak of. A skillful, charming Valentine to Mexico City and its rich history from American artist (Santa Fe) Dorothy Newkirk Stewart.

Santa Fe: Pictograph Press, 1950. First Edition . Soft cover. Good/Fair. Very scarce 1st in good condition, with the fragile dj chipped and in fragments (the serigraph on the front panel still intact). Textblock now detached from the covers as the staples have completely detached. Staples tight in terms of binding the pages together, the pages are not loose or loosening. Front and rear covers only attached by an .5 inch portion proceeding the first staple--otherwise the covers would be split into two panels like the dj. Front dj panel detached from front flap and rear panel. Though the extended covers are torn, the pages within are clean and unmarked. A fascinating book and a masterpiece of small press art.
