Volume VI 1864 is defective, pages: title page, 49-146, pages 101-104 duplicated, lacks first 48 pages. Volume VII, 1865, pages: title page 1-140 plus 1 page of index; Volume VIII, 1866, pages: title page followed by 1 page wrongly numbered 4, 3-141 plus 1 page index; Volume IX, 1867, pages: 1-142, pages 85-96 duplicated, nothing missing; Volume X defective having pages 1-48 only. 1 full page illustration, 1 double page and 2 folding plus many illustrations in the text. VOLUMES 7,8 and 9 COMPLETE. bound in quarter black leather with raised bands, gilt title, gilt date at foot of spine, gilt decoration to raised bands and small floral decoration between the raised bands, pebble cloth covers, marbled endpapers. Occasional brown spot, some creases to lower corners due to bad turning, pale age-browning to margins and endpapers, otherwise good clean copies.
