Good, spine and corners bumped, spine slightly cocked. 1/4 inch split at top of rear joint. Frontispiece foxed with 1 inch dampstain at lower inside corner. Light to moderate foxing front and rear, with light foxing to some plates. Mountaineering expeditions: the Col du Geant, the Matterhorn, alpine glaciers. Classic, uncommon.
