Paperback: illustrated in colour (covers and pop-up) and b/w (story) by KUBASTA , colour pictorial covers with a movable ship's wheel revealing the route a the Santa Maria took, cover edges are a little rubbed and corners a bit bumped, top of the spokes of the wheel creased and one is missing, cloth spine a bit rubbed and worn, name on inside front cover, 8pp story is partially loose and corners bumped, small rust stain on the first page (from the metal rivet holding the ship's wheel). At the back is a fold-out detailed pop-up of the fully rigged 'Santa Maria' followed by the 'Pinta' & 'Nina' against the background of the American Coast, small repair on first rowing boat/wave pop-up, the top of one of the sails of the Santa Maria is partially peeled, 2 small pieces of tape holding the rigging on the reverse, some damage to the outside edge of the fold-out piece, still a most acceptable copy..
