Includes a handwritten letter from Lapham to Jane Kroc (Second wife of Ray Kroc) talking about Jane meeting up with Alan Searle (friend of Maugham's) in Monte Carlo, then concludes "If, for any reason, you want to look up Noel / Coward or David Niven in / Switzerland I will forward their / numbers to you ....." Bound in medium green leatherette with gold decorations on spine & front cover. Very good, no dust jacket as issued. 15 x 21. hard cover. 565pp.
