Sobre este artículo
Vienna and Leipzig: Herz-Verlag, 1923. First German Edition, preceding all others.
A bestseller in Salten's time, "Der Hund von Florence" is a story about a boy who comes into contact with an ancient spell that changes him into a shaggy dog, and cannot resume his human form unless an act of bravery is performed. The book is today somewhat overshadowed by "Bambi," which Salten wrote a few years later.
Basis for the 1959 Disney film "The Shaggy Dog," starring Dean Jones and Jean Hagen (as well as being the inspiration for several sequels and remakes).
Very Good in original publisher's binding of quarter cloth, black spine title, and green paper covered boards. Bright yellow topstain, owner name on the front endpaper (marked through in black ink, see images), spine lean, and some sunning to the board edges.
