Classic Clancy novel in which a Soviet submarine crew attempts to defect to the United States. First edition, seventh printing with number line sequence 10 thru 7. Book is ex-library with the residue of a bookplate on the front free endpaper. There is also a 1" x 1/2" stamp reading "resale books" on the front and rear free endpapers. The book has been read, but the pages remain crisp, clean, and white. There may be a dog-eared page or two, but otherwise there is no writing, marks, or underlining. No remainder marks. Only very, very slight foxing to the textblock edges. Spine is tight and crisp. Boards are flat and true, and the corners are square. Dust jacket is not price-clipped and remains in remarkable condition with minimal shelf wear, though it does bear a library sticker.
