Sadleir 3662. Sabin 69051, indicates London, 1855. ~ Stories of hunting in the Americas by Irish adventure author, hunter and naturalist, Mayne Read (1818-1883). Animals hunted and studied include bears, buffalo, cougar passenger pigeons, raccoons, muskrat, wild hogs, vicuna, squirrel, deer, moose, and wolves. "Hunters' Feast" first appeared in serial form in 1854.
