Paper over boards with quarter faux leather spine, title stamped in gilt onto upper board and spine, 8vo (8-3/4 inches tall), pp. viii, [4], 646, with 17 illustrations, index, colored map endpapers, all edges stained mauve. Clean and unmarked inside. Bumps to corners and a few small water spots to fore-edge.
