There are a couple of small stains on the front cover. The title on the spine has completely faded. There are 1/2 centimeter losses from the cloth at the ends of the spine. The underlying boards are exposed at the corners. The pages are mildly browned. From the Preface- "The book has been so arranged that when the reader has found what he wishes to know about the nature of the tropical cyclone, he may obtain from the historical section an account, or at least a reference to the occurrence, of every hurricane known to have visited the locality in which he may be interested.
