Sobre este artículo
Traditional Yotsume Toji (four-hole) binding with hand-painted limp boards and red cloth label in Kanji to front board, and decorative silk spine caps. Entirely Japanese calligraphy throughout. Profusely illustrated in both color and black and white woodblocks; color illustrations are a combination of woodblock and hand-coloring. General wear to exterior and slight insect predation to top and right exterior edge of pages--not effecting interior of book (see image). Begins with 10 full color illustrations, then 50 full color leaves (100 pp.) of waka from Hyakunin Isshu (One Hundred Poets, One Poem [Each]), and second half appears to either be an excerpt of Murasaki Shikibu's Tale of Genji or writings regarding domestic life based upon visual information provided. 4 full-color illustrations interspersed in second half. 7 x 9 3/4 inches. 5 cm thick.
