Never before published in any other format, this is the First Printing of this Paperback Original (PBO) from Mandrake of Oxford. This is one of the first 666 copies of the "Esau" edition, which contain, in an homage to Pan, "a hygienically cured genuine hairy piece of goatskin securely glued to the outside lower spine & attached to a shimmery silver paper bookmark laid inside front cover. In addition, it is SIGNED by the author "Snoo" with a personalized, dated dedication inside front cover to "Adele & Ted (this being Ted Shank, founding chair of the Theatre Dept at UC Davis). In 252 pp + 1 page of other Mandrake titles in rear. Black & white decorative wrappers. Trade paperback 8vo is in Near Fine condition: bright & crisp & clean, wit very slight shelf soil & dust dulling to outside upper & fore edge side page edges. Else, appears never opened: completely clean, binding strong & straight, pages white & unmarked.
