Photo-illustrated endpapers of the film starring Paul Muni. Light toning to the extremities, creasing, foxing on the spine. There is toning to the pages. The hinges are in excellent condition. A newspaper article from the Newark Ledger, Thursday, December 22, 1932 has been affixed to the verso of the title page. Unclipped pictorial jacket has chips along the extremities, and on the darkened spine. in mylar sleeve. This is the photoplay edition of the autobiography of Robert E. Burns, who was twice sentenced to the terrors and hardships of a chain gang. He tells of his spectacular escapes and his life beyond the prison walls.. Photoplay Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Octavo.

The store contains over 10,000 books in over 80 different subjects, and favors good used books and good literature (both hardcover and paperback) over popular books and bestsellers. Our Internet business began in 2001. Upon visiting the store, we can show and sell individual online titles upon request. Store hours are 10:00-5:30 (Tues.-Sat.) and 11:00-4:00 (Sun.). The business is run by Richard Chalfin.
