Hardcover, black cloth, gilt title on spine (gift inscription on front free endpaper dated Christmas, 1937; library stamp on back free endpaper, covers chipped, worn & soiled, both endpapers and title page have brown stains, text is unmarked). No dust jacket.
Size: 8 ½" x 6" (21.5cm x 15cm).
Good condition.
G. Ward Price, for much of his career, was a reporter for the Daily Mail. In the early to mid-1930s he was given preferential treatment in interviewing Hitler because he wrote a more favourable report of Germany's activities. After 1938 he became a strong opponent of the Nazi regime.
