Panel edges are slightly dulled and rubbed as with age. Small back mark to the bottom of the front panel. Scattered foxing, mainly to prelims, and first 40 or so pages. Remains particularly well-preserved overall. Previous owner's bookplate (Watson) to front pastedown. Previous owner's signature also to title page. Further scans, images etc. and additional bibliographical material available on request. ; 8vo 8"" - 9"" tall; 467 pages; 467p. frontis.; 19cm. Volume 1 only.
