Signed and inscribed by Carle on the front free endpaper/dedication page to the legendary young adult novelist Katherine Paterson, winner of two Newbery medals and two National Book Awards. Yellow vinyl boards with black titles and front panel design. Very good (+) in like jacket, with light foxing to end papers and top of textblock, as well as the flaps and interior of jacket. 2" closed tear at base of rear jacket panel; short horizontal closed tear at top of front flap. A wonderful association copy linking two titans of children's literature.

All books ship free with tracking to domestic addresses via USPS Media Mail. In most cases, delivery takes place within a three to ten day window, although the vicissitudes of USPS may apply. Unless otherwise requested, expedited domestic purchases ship via USPS Priority Mail; overseas orders via USPS First Class International. Heavy or oversized books may incur additional shipping charges, as may books shipped to overseas destinations. Any additional charges required will be communicated promptly.
We take safe shipping very seriously; all of our books are packaged in new cardboard boxes amply cushioned with biodegradable packing peanuts. Pamphlets and other flat materials items are ocassionally shipped in bubble-mailers with internal cardboard supports. All books with dust jackets are fitted with brand new archival protectors prior to shipping.
