Milan: Fratelli Fabbri Editori (1965), 1965 300 pgs; 144 color plates. Volume 2 only, of a 4 volume set. Bound in brown imitation leather, with gilt decoration. Cover shows light wear, a few small indentations, short tear in cover material at top of front cover, near spine. Jacket shows edge wear, with several short tears; 2 chips on back; some creasing. A beautiful presentation of the Gospel of St. Mark, illustrated throughout with images reproduced from medieval illuminated manuscripts. The text is presented in the Italian translation prepared by the Pontificio Istituto Biblico di Roma, along with Greek and Latin texts edited by A. Merk, and a commentary by P.C. Landucci (in Italian). A heavy, oversize volume.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Good. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall.
