UK: Penguin, 2008. First edition thus. Trade Paperbacks Box Set. Very good +/Very good (box). The box set of all 14 007 novels, issued by Penguin to mark the centenary of the author's birth in 1908. In the pictorial glossy laminated box, 19 x 27 x 12cm. Minor rubs to the edges and as often with this collection, due to the tightness of the box, a crack of two centimetres to the rear left joint of the box, now repaired with unobtrusive transparent archival tape. Box otherwise in sound, very good condition, still bright and glossy. The books have been read, with minor crease marks to spines but otherwise are bright, sharp copes, all very well kept.

2006. Paperback. Acceptable. Acceptable condition. There are tears to the slip case, an 8cm tear to one edge and a 2cm tear to the edge of the lid. There are some scuffs and dents to the edges and corners of the slip case and the books have many cracks to the spines and light scuffs to the edges of the cover but otherwise in very good condition with all pages crisp and clean.

The sides of the case are bulged slightly and some of the books have light cracks to the spine and light scuffs to the edges of the cover but otherwise in very good condition.

There are scuffs to the edges and corners of the case with a long tear to the artwork on the edge connecting the lid to the box, which goes from the right hand side all the way into the centre, as well as some smaller tears to the same edge on the inside of the lid. The books are well worn with multiple cracks to the spines and some scuffs to the edges and corners, and creases to the edges also but otherwise in very good condition with pages crisp and clean.

There are scuffs and dents to the faces and other edges of the case also. Some of the books themselves have light scuffing to the edges of the covers, and all of the books have cracked spines, but otherwise in good condition with all pages crisp and clean.
