Uncut and unbound as issued. Some soiling and spotting to text and plates. Choulant-Frank 309, Waller 9048, Garrison-M. 1554, Heirs of Hippocrates 1135 (citing 1806 German edition). Second Latin edition. The book contains only representations of the tongue and the male larynx. This representations of the tongue are of especially great value (Choulant, Anatomic Illustration, p. 309). Soemmerrings Arbeit in den Übersetzungen von Bernhard Nathanael Gottlob und Christian Heinrich Theodor Schreger, die kurz nach den deutschen Ausgaben beim gleichen Verlag erschien. Die Arbeit über die Hörorgane entstand auf Anregung von Lichtenberg in Göttingen. Soemmerings Arbeiten erschienen in verschiedenen Übersetzungen. Nur die deutsche und lateinsche Ausgabe haben jedoch die Original-Tafeln nach den Zeichnungen von Chr. Köck.
