Hardcover, full brown cloth with white lettering and decoration to front cover and spine, top edge gilt, other edges untrimmed, 7" tall, 314 pp. + publisher's ads, illustrated by F.T. Richards, photographic potrait frontispiece. Minor bump to top corner of front cover with some flaking to white at that point, minor rubbing and toning to spine. Humorous stories, often with a moral lesson.
