Binding of clean black full cloth w/ sharp and bright gilt titles on spine.The spine head is slightly sunned. Sewn binding is tight and solid. Internals pristine--clean, unmarked, double columned text, bright photographs and illustrations. Jacket is bright and clean, not prce-clipped, upper corner chipped, spine head scuffed and chipped. Homer, the greatest poet of ancient Greece, recounts the adventures of Odyssey during his ten year voyage home after the fall of Troy. E. V. Rieu's translation is accompanied by more than 100 illustrations, many of which are the landscapes and seascapes that Odysseus and hos companions would have seen during their travels. 255 pages 10 x 7.5 inches.
