New York: Society of Illustrators, (1984). 12 x 9.75 in. 352pp. Deluxe Edition, No. 50 of 250 with an estate-stamped Original Drawing by Frederic R. Gruger tipped-in and Signed by both authors on the title page. Also tipped-in, a 1p Autograph Letter Signed by Walt Reed to "John" [Fantucchio], artist/illustrator, who has neatly penned his name and address on the adjacent page along with the envelope used to send the letter, and his name is gilt-stamped on front cover. All "specially bound" in black cloth, letters gilt, illustration mounted on front cover, all edges gilt, housed in black cloth slipcase. Book in very good plus (bright, clean, slight fade to spine, scuff marks on rear cover), slipcase has small loss to cloth at one edge. Prospectus laid in. With over 700 illustrations, half in full color, "a complete pictorial and biographical record of the greatest illustrators in America from 1880 to 1980". ; Illustrated; 12 x 9.75 inches; 352 pages; Signed by Author .
