Full light brown morocco with gilt slamped cross and lettering to front board and gilt spine lettering, borders outlined in gilt to the boards and spine compartments. A.E.G. Floral patterned endpapers. 291 pp. Red ribbon marker. Bound by Sangorski and Sutcliffe, binder's stamp to turn in at tail of inside front board, for J.W. Robinson Company. Joints and spine ends lightly rubbed, with light scuffing to the raised bands, front joint started at both edges but boards still firmly attached, with no cracking to hinges. Offsetting from morocco to edges of endpapers. Bookplate to front pastedown. Faded name to verso of ffep. Gift inscription to first blank. Clean throughout, and the binding is tight and square.
