First edition, 1/100 copies (this #87) printed on hand-made paper and signed by the author. 8vo. 2 volumes: xii, 315, (1); (8), 317-629, (1) pp. Title page printed in red and black. Laid in is a 1930 autograph note from Bennett to the head of the Cassell publishing firm Newman Flower who would later edit Bennett's journals. Bookplate on the front pastedown of each volume, else very good. Original vellum, gilt rules framing boards, gilt spine titles, top edge gilt, other untrimmed. (9601).
