Untrimmed. Leaves foxed throughout. Good. Poetry, an epistle in rhyming verse, on French theater and literature (sometimes referred to as "Epitre au fauteuil de Molière," Letter to Moiere's Armchair). Earliest known publication by Yvert, who was among the Legitimists, a right-wing political faction that supported the Bourbons and rejected the claims of Louis Philippe. Yvert was a poet and publisher who moved to Amiens in 1831 and founded a Legitimist newspaper which printed more of his writings.
