This story of passion, murder, betrayal, and adultery took place in late 1890s Indiana. The author reveals a family secret that had been kept from him most of his life and only through his extensive research was the truth concerning this major scandal and courtroom trial finally revealed. The book measures 6 3/4 by 9 1/2 inches and includes 373 pages. The book is bound in black boards with gilt spine titles.. Stated First Edition. Hard Cover. As New/As New. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
