George Winters (1809 - 1876) was an English-born painter whose subjects included the Potawatomi people, rivers, and various portrait subjects. This book is a catalog of the George Winter collection at the Tippecanoe County Historical Association in Lafayette, Indiana; it was compiled by Sarah E. Cooke and Rachel B. Ramadhyani, with essays by Christian F. Feest and R. David Edmunds. ; B & W and Color Illustrations ; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 269 pp; Signed by Author .
