First Bantam edition, No. 150, of this very rare murder mystery first issued by Superior, and then re-issued by Bantam with new cover art on a thick colour-illustrated dustjacket. This Irish suspense novel is set in 1920s Dublin after the Irish Civil War, and won the 1925 James Tait Black Memorial Prize.
