Herbert Jenkins,, [c.1940]. 8vo., Eleventh Impression, small neat signature on front free endpaper; original orange cloth, upper board and backstrip blocked and lettered in black, a near fine copy in unclipped dustwrapper, the latter lightly dust-soiled on (predominantly white) panels and with one short closed tear on rear panel. First published in 1923. The first appearance of Wooster and Jeeves, this collection of eleven immortal short stories includes 'The Great Sermon Handicap' and introduces Bingo Little. Dustwrapper carries price of 5/-. ALL EARLY PRINTINGS ARE VERY SCARCE IN THIS CONDITION.
