Sobre este artículo

London:: for T. Becket and P.A. De Hondt,, 1772.. Second edition, revised and greatly enlarged.. Hardcover. Very Good. [xii], 347, (i), [9] index, [3] adverts. Some toning, foxing or soiling to first and last few pages. Text very clean with occasional light spotting. The 'discoverer' of Ossian, speaking of himself, says in the preface: 'An enemy to fiction himself, he imposes none on the world. He advances nothing as fact without authorities; and his conjectures arise not so much from his own ingenuity, as from the proofs which the ancients have laid down before him.' Takes a great interest in the Irish versus the Scottish claims to be the originators of Celtic culture. Quarto, in a new craftsman binding of half brown calf with marbled boards, spine with five raised bands ruled gilt and two spine labels. A very handsome copy.

Sobre Chapel Books

I sell books from a large disused Chapel next to the village duck pond, where I have lived about 40 years: just inland from Dunwich and between Southwold and Aldeburgh. I open 7 days a week, 12-5.
